Eyebrow mircoblading disaster - horrified by results. (photo)

Question

I got my eyebrows mircobladed about 24hrs ago when i saw the result i was horrified they are way to thick and what was supposed to be a med blonde is more of a dark brown. I was told they would look smaller once the swelling was down. Is there a way to thin the shaping and lighten them up without having to go bk in. Truthfully it hurt like hell and i really dont want to go through that again but i also dont like looking like a ghetto clown

Thank you for your question. Retinol can help fade the appearance of the tattoo, you should also ask your physician about tattoo removal if all else fails.

Hello Liz5280,
I am sorry to hear about your experience. The brows will lighten as they heal. Just be patient. Microblading is a two step process. At your follow up visit is when your provider will do any corrections. If the color still appears to be too dark your provider can lighten them. There is not an at home solution to correct the brows, you can actually cause additional issues that will need correction.

Hi liz5280, Your brows will be thick and dark durng the first few days. Eventually they will lighten and reduce in size by about 30%. Please follow to the letter the post-care advice of your aesthetician. Usually, keeping it dry (no water, no sweat) for the first ten days works best.
