The back of one of my front tooth has broken at the very bottom (past the gum line). I had a tongue ring a while back and my dentist explained that as a result of me rubbing it against the back of my teeth where my gums covered the roots - my gums have receeded. Now, one of my teeth has chipped and there’s a space between where my tooth now begins and what gum that is left. Is there anything that can be done about this? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
