I feel like I lost my kissing sensation with my composite veneers ? They look fake to me. Can this happen ?

Veneers should not affect the kissing sensation.  Anything is possible in science, but I have never had a patient complain of this.  You may want to consult a neurologist to evaluate the nerves in your face if this persists.  Good luck and I hope this info helps you. This is a very abnormal scenario.  Composite veneers should not affect the kissing sensation that you are describing.  The complaint of them looking fake can definitely be resolved.  Composite material does not hold its shine, and does not reflect light the same way as natural teeth.  Porcelain is a much better option.  Porcelain veneers, if done correctly, can really bring your smile to life and can look and feel like natural teeth. I would recommend you do a lot of research before having any procedures done.  You need to see a very experienced cosmetic dentist.  It will be more expensive, however, it's a great investment and the porcelain veneers should last you a very, very long time.
