I got a friend who went for Collagen injection in her breast. And I want to go too but I want to know if its safer than Breast implant.
Answer: Collagen injections are NOT for breast enlargement!
In fact, I can think of very few, if any, proper medical indications for injection of collagen into breasts. Just where exactly did your friend have the collagen placed? In the nipple? Or was it supposedly for enlargement? Are you sure it was collagen injection and not fat?
Even fat injection for breast enlargement is controversial, and generally condemned by most breast surgeons, general surgeons and plastic surgeons alike. This is because some of the injected fat can die, causing densities and sometimes calcifications that can interfere with mammography detection of breast cancers.
There is NO cheap and easy way to enlarge your breasts without plastic surgery and breast implants.

Answer: See additional opinions Be very careful. Collagen injections don’t last long and you would need a large volume to lift a breast. What “collagen” is being used? Have there been studies with the large amount needed for the breast and what reaction it can cause? A controversial treatment is fat injection, but at least that is your own tissue being injected back to you. Make sure you see a different physician for their opinion.

Answer: Collagen Injections a definite NO for Breast Enhancements It's highly unlikely a reputable physician would inject collagen in breasts for enlargement as it is controversial because of its implications with mammogram interference; however, superficial filler injection in small skin scars or depressions is a viable treatment. Collagen is probably not the filler of choice as it is quickly dissolved and doesn't appear to give the longer-lasting collagen stimulatory effect of other products like hyaluronic acid. If any filler is recommended to enhance the breast, I would recommend another opinion.

Answer: Injections for breasts Various materials have been used for injection into the breast to increase size temporarily. I would not recommend any of them, neither collagen, hyaluronic acid or macrolane. I do use saline that I slowly inject into the breast as an office visit procedure. I fill the breasts up to whatever size the patient wishes. This slowly does disappear over a day or so but gives the patient an idea of what she will look like as well as maybe even helps her fill out her wedding dress for that special day! My patients like it and I get a better idea of what size implant they would prefer. I have been doing the same for cheek and chin implants for many years.
