I'd like to wear shirts without a bra. Of course I want to keep the integrity of my boobs and have some shape. Maybe I'm nervous I'll be left too big. I've attached a photo of how I want my boobs to look. Is this achievable by removing 275g per breast? If not, how do I ask my surgeon to remove more? He said he'll remove enough to what'll suit my body. I believe I'm 32DDD/34DD? Please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm 5'2 and plan on losing 10-15 lbs. So I want them to fit that frame.
Answer: Breasts Find a nude photo of someone similar to your body size with breasts you like and show that to your surgeon.

Answer: Breast reduction This question is best answered by your board certified plastic surgeon who has had the benefit of examining you. She/He is your personal expert in helping to determine what is best based on your surgical goals and your frame. Bring in before/after photos of breasts you like and dislike. Be sure that the photos are of those with a similar frame to you.

Answer: Removing too much Thanks for your question! I do think its important to have realistic goals. In order to keep a pretty shape to the breast and not have it turn out boxxy, you have to be careful not to remove too much. I would have a conversation with your plastic surgeon and make sure you are on the same page. Good luck!

Answer: Bellesoma Breast Reduction 275 grams removed corresponds to 3 cup size decrease. You will end up a B or C and may look disproportionate for your body. More important than the breast reduction is the breast lift. The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reduce and reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. The weight of the breast is transferred to the underlying pectoralis major muscle resulting in pain relief without excessive reduction. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. This technique is not covered by insurance. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Breast reduction outcome. The best way to get a good idea of what your results is going to look like is to look at a lot of before and after pictures of your surgeons work. When selecting plastic surgeons, I recommend patients have multiple in person consultations. During each consultation, ask each provider to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before, and after pictures of previous patients who have similar body characteristics to your own. This will get you a chance to see what typical results look like of previous patients who look just like you. And experience provider should have no difficulty showing you the before and after pictures of at least 50 previous patients. Being shown a handful of pre-selected images, representing only the best results of a providers career may be insufficient to get a clear understanding of what average results look like in the hands of each provider, what your results is likely to look like or how many of these procedures they’ve actually done. A 275 g reduction per side is pretty conservative. I’m surprised that that estimate got authorized by the insurance company. Typical breast reductions in my experience have been closer to 450 to 700 g per side. Obviously, it depends on the size of the patient. Your best wild large are not as big as some of the reductions. Most plastic surgeons have probably done. 450 g reduction seems a bit right to me, but each provider will have their own preference and there are significant variations from patient to patient. it’s pretty important to discuss your wishes and have a pretty good understanding of what your surgeon has in mind. In my experience, this is done by having an honest discussion while reviewing before and after pictures of previous patients. Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD.
