Coffee after the sleeve?

I have been conducting a lot of research lately about drinking coffee after having the gastric sleeve. I wanted to know is it safe to drink a cup of coffee after the operation, if so when? Some advice says coffee is fine others said it may cause reflux ect? Anyone drink it after the sleeve and they have no problems. I am due to fly out to San Diego next week to have the sleeve done in Mexico on the 21st. Any tips? What does one recommend taking with them?

Hello, it is possible after clearing the needed pre operative evaluations. Such as endoscopic studies, bloodwork and evaluations from other departments to clear the paien for a Comvertion surgery, here, the doctor removes the band and do the VGS in the same operating time.
