I'm 19 and a C-D cup. There are a hundred reasons why I want to get my breasts removed but not enough characters to write them all. I am 100% invested in getting this done and I'm tired of people trying to talk me out of it. I have a few questions about it. I'm aware that insurance won't cover it. I intend to pay for it myself. I already have about $1,000 saved. How much will it approx. come to? What are the pricing factors? Do all surgeons require therapy and documented visits from doctors?

Answer: Can I get my breasts removed. A breast reduction might be something to consider, but removal of the breast many would consider disfiguring, and as surgeons we might see this as a potential harm and not in your interest. It is not that we are out to disagree with your decision, it is just that as physicians our standards are very high in protecting patient health and saftey.

Answer: Please don't take this the wrong way It's concerning that you are so young and want your breasts completely removed. Breast reduction surgery is a wonderful surgery and can help you if you are having problems like neck pain, back pain, rashes in the folds of your breasts, etc. Completely removing your breasts in the absence of pathology or a genetic predisposition to cancer is not a normal request and I just want you to know that. A lot of plastic surgeons might not even want to comment on your case, so I am just being honest with you. You would need to speak to the plastic surgeon that you choose and explain your reasoning and see if this is the best road to go down. I wish you luck and am happy to help if you have questions.-JGH
