My butt/groin area is now sweating excessively after having laser hair removal, what could be the reason for this?

The hair where I can see comes back. I now sweat through my clothes. It is just where I had laser hair removal at. Could the skin have been damaged during the treatment? Is there anything that I can do to correct this? I have been to a dermatologist, my PCP, and tried acupuncture nothing so far has stopped it.
