I am 52 and have very large pores and fine (and deep!) lines, I have no dark spots or pigmentation on my skin. I also get rosacea breakouts on my nose. In a perfect world I would also got a collagen boost and my sagging jowls lifted!!
Answer: Reduce pore size and fine lines. Clear + Brilliant can be a good option for large pores and skin rejuvenation, depending on your skin type, goals, and expectations. Here's a breakdown to help you decide: Benefits of Clear + Brilliant for Large Pores and Rejuvenation: Minimizes the Appearance of Pores: By stimulating collagen production and resurfacing the upper layers of the skin, it can help reduce the look of enlarged pores over time. Improves Skin Texture and Tone: Helps with dullness, roughness, and uneven pigmentation, contributing to a more refreshed, youthful appearance. Boosts Collagen: Especially beneficial for early signs of aging. It improves elasticity and firmness, which can indirectly reduce pore visibility. Gentle Yet Effective: It’s a non-ablative fractional laser, meaning it treats a fraction of the skin and leaves surrounding areas untouched, promoting faster healing. Limitations and Considerations: Mild to Moderate Results: It’s not as aggressive as treatments like Fraxel Dual or CO2 lasers. Don’t expect dramatic pore shrinking from just one session. Multiple Sessions Needed: Typically, 3–6 treatments spaced a few weeks apart yield the best results. Not a One-Time Fix: Maintenance treatments may be needed to keep results. Downtime is Minimal: You might have redness or roughness for 1–3 days, but it's manageable for most people. Alternatives if You Want Stronger Results: Microneedling with RF (e.g., Morpheus8, Vivace): Excellent for tightening and reducing pores. Fractional CO2 or Fraxel Dual: More aggressive resurfacing for deeper rejuvenation. Chemical Peels or TCA Cross (for scarring or icepick pores)

Answer: Clear & brilliant helps minimize appearance of large pores and fine lines Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon
