There isn’t a lot of preparation required before a FemTouch™ treatment, but there are a few things to keep in mind. Ideally, the procedure should be scheduled when you’re not on your period, as it can be more comfortable and convenient for both you and the practitioner. The best time to have the procedure is usually a week or so after your period ends, when the vaginal tissues are less sensitive. Before your session, it’s helpful to avoid sexual activity, tampons, and douching for 24 hours to ensure the area is as calm as possible. Other than that, FemTouch™ is a non-invasive procedure with minimal preparation, making it easy to fit into your schedule. As always, it’s a good idea to check with your provider for any specific guidelines they may have before your appointment.
