Does PCOS hair loss differ from AGA?

Or is it the same thing? My dermatologist said my hair loss is fully reversible by lowering testosterone and insulin levels. She said women with AGA will have to be on topical and oral treatments for life?

I don't think there is any evidence to show that alternate dosing and different class of drugs will be of any benefit. There is another drug called Bicalutamide, which is supposed to be better.
