3 months post-op, noticed dent at 2 months. Skin feels tacked down to the muscle. Felt a 1" long x 0.5" wide fibrous band of tissue underneath the dent. The surrounding skin is supple/loose, indented area is firm and almost immobile. My BOARD CERTIFIED plastic surgeon said to massage and mobilize the tissue - no success. Doubt I can manually break up something this big. Can the fibrous tissue be released? What're the risks/benefits? Can anything be done under local? What would be YOUR approach?
