I went in for botox 3 weeks ago.I was able to see that there was an assymetry in my eyebrows. The left eye,i was able to raise the eyebrow higher but botox lifted my eyebrow which made my eye appear less puffy. On the other hand the right eye, the eyebrow would not go as high and my eyelid appeared to show a puff to it.When I went back to my injector following the 2 weeks of waiting, she said that she wont be able to lift my right eyebrow the same way as the right & decided to lower the left down.

Answer: Limit to how much can raise brow There is a limit to how much Botox can raise a brow and it is sometimes more reliable, especially after you think that you have raised brows to their maximum, to lower the other brow if one is higher. It seems that that is what your doctor was trying to do .

Answer: Questioning techniques to lift brows It is tough to say with certainty if anything could or could not be done to lift the brow without seeing and examining your face/brows, feeling the strength of the orbicularis oculi, corrugators, and frontalis muscles---the ones predominantly involved with brow height and contour. If your corrugator on the right side was adequately paralyzed and a bit too much neurotoxin (Botox, Xeomin, or Dysport) was injected (or made its way) into the right half of your frontalis muscle, you would indeed likely see a puff to the right upper eyelid....and then injecting into the orbicularis oculi would not help. That is my educated guess on what happened. I have been injecting Botox since 1992...so I have pretty much experience to draw on.
