Since hyaluronic acid plays a key role in nourishing collagen, wouldn't that mean that when HA is degraded suddenly due to an injection of hyaluronidase, there's a domino effect where cells can no longer hold water and collagen then degenerates, leading to loss of skin elasticity? I had hyaluronidase injected just beneath the orbital rim to dissolve tear trough filler, and months later the entire front of my cheek is still depleted and a different texture, where I never had filler.
