Congenital symmastia fix? (Photo)

Question

I have NOT had implants or prior breast surgery. I have congenital symmastia and hoping for feedback on internal bras as a fix? Any other recommendations? I am also hoping to have a fat transfer to breast and would like to know if this would be possible given the condition.

Good morning,
I don't perform fat grafting because it doesn't work- most of the fat dissolves or becomes lumpy bumpy. I do, however, repair a hundred or more synmastia cases a year. Obviously most of these are acquired not congenital, but the premise is similar. I would recommend aggressive liposuction up and down the midline to decrease the bulk of soft tissue connecting your breasts, followed by the Original Internal Bra, my strong permanent internal suturing technique.

Many of the options are not the best. Internal bras help lift and shape but usually they are used to push things in and up. The best solutions for your case are to recreate space in between.

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Generally speaking, symmastia can be improved with surgery. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
