How long should I wait after a C-Section to get a BBL done?

Question

Was planning on doing BBL this summer weighing 145 lbs. Then I found out I was pregnant. C-Section scheduled December 8, 2015. How long after C-Section should I wait to do BBL?

Thanks for your question. It is best to let your body recover fully from your pregnancy and c-section. 6 months is usually sufficient enough time for this. Being at a stable weight is also recommended. All the best and good luck!Dr. JSB

I would recommend waiting six months between surgeries, but remember that all depends on your health and lab tests.

It is recommended that you wait at least 6 months post pregnancy before you plan any cosmetic surgery. The reason is your body needs to go back to a real condition and real measures in order to have results that don't change later with time.

You will have to sleep on your stomach for 3 weeks after bbl- so you should have your c section fully recovered before you lie on it- 3-4 months should be a reasonable period of time to re over from c sectionremember - breast feeding is usually done sitting or in a bed - on your back- so you will have to stand to breast feed the baby 3 weeks, , or wait on your bbl until you complete breast feeding.check out before and after photos at our site dedicated 100% to BBL:dr Del Vecchio
