Polydioxanone thread lift is very safe and the suture material dissolves in 130-180 days.
This material is has been used for wound closure for 3 decades. There are no problems with allergic reactions or long term complications. Using these sutures to create a lift and stimulate fibroblasts (increasing new collagen) in no way interfere with future plastic surgical procedures.

Thank you for your question. A Thread Lift has absorbable lifting sutures that tighten the skin and stimulate collagen as they dissolve over time. The threads will settle over time so it should not affect a face lift operation in the future.
