One month post septoplasty and turbinate reduction and I have a lot of stuff in the inside of my nose, how can I get it out?

I had my septoplasty turbinate reduction surgery one month ago and I have cleaned out my nose as instructed. My concern is that there is large black/green looking things stuck on the walls of the inside of my nose and I can't get them out no matter how much I use neilmed nasal rinse or my saline spray. I'm concerned because I don't want it to cause any type of infection with it being there. They look like large boogers but they just don't come out and it's blocking my air way. What can I do?

Thank you for your question, and I'm sorry you're having a rough time.What you're describing is extremely common after this type of surgery.The irrigations are your best friend, but often times in your type of situation your surgeon will need to clean out your nose (in the office).I advise you contact him/her and set up a follow up, if you don't already have one.Good Luck!

Saltwater is a great tool to wash the inside of your nose. you can buy a small bulb syringe at CVS that can be used to irrigate your nose. Internal nasal drainage should improve over the first month.
