Thank you for your question and I'm sorry you're having a difficult time. Your best bet is to review this with your surgeon, as they know best what was done during your surgery. Without prior photos and knowing what was done (like from a prior operative report) and examining your nose, it's difficult to give you any specific advice.&nbsp;
You do have a supratip fullness. In some cases that can be addressed with just steroid injection. Your tip is also overly rotated. And the columella is healing poorly - bad scar and distortion of the medial footplates. This can be repaired, but the exact approach will need to take into account the state of the septum, and additional grafts may be needed.&nbsp;
The fact that you did not have splints does not mean anything. During septoplasty, I usually put stitches in the septum&nbsp;to avoid stents whenever possible.&nbsp;
Discuss your concerns with your doctor, and if not satisfied, seek second opinion from someone experienced with revision Rhinoplasty.&nbsp;

8mnths post op, I think I have developed polly beak deformity too. What does need to be done to make it look normal again? Also, the little white point in my nostril is not buger, it's the tip of the stitch. Was also supposed to perform septoplasty, however there were no nasal tube sprints in after the surgery and my breathing is worse than before, I can only breath through my mouth when laying down. Help! What do I need to do? Who can I go to? Can I get a refund? I can't afford another surgery.

Thank you for your question and I'm sorry you're having issues. Discuss this with your physician first, as they know your nose and what was done better than anyone else, and may have additional suggestions for you.&nbsp;
For people who have chronic nasal problems, I like to start out with flonase and saline rinses (like Netty pot) as the basic medical therapy. And these may be necessary even after a perfect surgery.&nbsp;
If your surgeon is unable to address your concerns, seek a second opinion - preferably from a facial plastic surgeon.&nbsp;

I had a sepoyoplasty done in September '16, with turbibate reduction. Before the surgery, I took an allergy test, which showed dust mites (3.5/10), and other weeds that were low. I've had severe sinus congestion for years, getting worse each year.After the surgery, the DR. said everything went well, and is happy with the results. I still have bad congestion, and wake up not being able to breathe out of my left side everyday. The dr had me use Flonase, which has not helped. Should I see a new DR?

Is it normal to be this congested after a septoplasty?

Revision rhinoplasty is one of the most challenging surgeries to perform. Find an experienced surgeon you trust. Only after a full and proper exam, can a personalized plan be developed.&nbsp;I expect you will need significant amount of cartilage grafting to reshape and support your nose. Having had a prior surgery, the amount of cartilage available from your nose is likely to be very limited. This will likely mean having to borrow cartilage either from the ear or from a rib. This is fairly standard practice.
Also, nobody's face is symmetric.&nbsp;&nbsp;In your case, the right side of your face is the smaller one. This needs to be taken into account when making the surgical&nbsp;plan for your nose.

I had surgery done about 6 years ago to fix a deviated septum and straighten my nose which had previously been broken. I was left with an entirely different nose, it has a swoop, my bridge is more narrow, my nostrils are uneven, i can't breathe out of my right side, I have a small bump On my bridge When I press it I can breathe through the right nostril. I've felt so ugly for the past six years and I'm so terrified at the thought of surgery. I hope that my nose is fixable....help!

It looks like there's still quite a bit of swelling -&nbsp;like your surgery was very recent. I recommend all my patients to wait at least a year before making adjustments to their rhinoplasty. Discuss your concerns with your surgeon, as sometimes steroid injections may be indicated/helpful.

This graft is usually sutured in place during initial placement. It is certainly possible to elevate the skin without disturbing it. I&nbsp;recommend you discuss this question with your surgeon, as he's the only one who knows what maneuvers were done and whether the &nbsp;graft was disturbed, removed, replaced, or left alone.

During a open revision rhinoplasty that previously had a nasal shield tip graft... does it usually fall off while doing a revision or when you lift the skin you would also intentionally need to remove a good amount of scar tissue. I am just concerned because I had a revision open surgery and the tip graft was not touched but I hope it did not affect its strength?

Brow asymmetry can happen due to a number of issues. From your limited photo, it is hard to tell if there is much facial asymmetry contributing to your issues. It does look like your left upper eyelid is droopy, with compensatory left Brow elevation. Seek evaluation from an oculoplastic surgeon to see if you need Ptosis repair.&nbsp;

One of my eyebrows is much lower and less arched than my other one and I want my eyebrows to be symmetrical but I'm scared of getting any surgery done on my face! I feel like my left eye looks much bigger than my right eye because of my eyebrow and I have always been insecure about it. I've heard botox can be used for an eyebrow lift. Would this fix my problem or is it only fixable with some kind of surgery?

It's very difficult to answer your question with any specifics without seeing any photos. The possibility and ease of revision will also depend on what was done in prior surgeries. In general, hanging columella can be repaired. However, it is critical to make sure that that is the actual problem, and that you're not dealing with alar retraction, as alar retraction is addressed with completely different maneuvers.&nbsp;

Consult with an experienced revision Rhinoplasty surgeon.&nbsp;

Your dorsum does look too low on profile views. This can certainly be improved with grafts, and a multitude is available. However you need to wait for the healing process to take place, so that changes that will inevitably happen over the next year can be taken into account during surgery planning.&nbsp;

If you're happy with your tip, then endonasal (aka closed rhinoplasty) approach may be a good approach for your eventual revision. In a closed approach, the&nbsp;incisions are hidden inside the nose, and the tip does not have to be disturbed. An in person evaluation and examination will be necessary to fully diagnose the deficiencies and the new anatomy of your nose, as well as what surgical maneuvers will be possible&nbsp;and necessary.&nbsp;

Seek an experienced revision rhinoplasty surgeon.

I had rhinoplasty surgery for about 2 months ago and I'm not happy for the result. Doctor took away too much of the bridge and he fiksed the rip of my nose (im happy with the tip). is there any risk that I take second rhinoplasty, Without destroying the tip of my nose and the rest?? I just want higher bridge to make mye nose look normal, not like Michael Jackson nose. I want my nose to look natural from front view and side view. Please help me!

1 month is very early in the process, but I can appreciate your anxiety. The swelling goes down very slowly and at various time in various places. Please allow sufficient time for this process to take place (usually at least a year). If your concerns persist, make sure to discuss them with your surgeon - he/she would know best what was done in your surgery and what can be expected. If after that&nbsp;you're&nbsp;not comfortable, have a low threshold to seek out a second opinion with an experienced specialist.

In the meantime, research some preferential make up techniques that can play with the shadows and make your nose appear straighter while it's healing.

Just had my revision rhino- from what I can tell the septum is deviated now to the other side- how is this possible? The doctor said it's the tip and swelling will help the appearance.. It has been a month, but as swelling reduces it curves more? it seems? What can be done? The idea of having a third surgery really scares me , I was so afraid of issues coming up after the first one and I right now don't even know if this surgeon is telling me the truth or not. I feel really upset and sad.

Upper cartilage collapse will not cause a deviated septum, and it is unlikely to cause rhinitis symptoms. Complications of cosmetic surgery are not usually covered by your medical insurance.&nbsp;

Normally, standard&nbsp;septoplasty (straightening the septum internally) is covered with preapproval. If there's narrowing of the nasal passage causing problems with&nbsp;breathing, that repair may also be covered with prior&nbsp;approval.

I went to an ENT and am having chronic rhinitus and deviated septum due to upper lateral cartilage collapse from a rhinoplasty 3 years ago. Is it possible to have its repair covered by insurance? I am not looking for anything cosmetic at this point, just an intact bridge.
