While the simple answer is yes, there can be some facial changes, one should not expect drastic changes. This is both good AND bad, in that if you really WANT changes, then I think you will be disappointed. The fullness of lips, or lack of, may mean that the prosthetic needs to come forward/backward a few mm, so spend some time with the Dr to see if a new design will help.

Implant restorations will typically regenerate bone on or around the implants providing a strong and stable foundation for implant-supported dentures. Once implant dentures are loaded, this will correct a collapsed bite and increase vertical dimension resulting in a healthy-looking smile and a more youthful looking face. Since the structure under your lips is modified, you may sense a change in the appearance of your lips but it should be nominal, and easily corrected with minimally invasive procedures such as injectable fillers.
