You shouldn't have any problems at all changing surgeons. Your pre-approval for surgery is determined by your condition and not by the surgeon. You will still need to have a consultation with your new surgeon and make sure that he/she feels able to remove as much tissue as the first surgeon has indicated in his insurance authorization request. The process should be relatively easy. Just find a new surgeon, make your appointment, and the rest should be relatively straightforward for the new office staff to take care of.
