I had a crown placed recently for cosmetic reasons, as well as for strength of the tooth. the temporary wasn’t the best color but it was the right shape and size.. I now have the permanent crown but I didn’t realize while I was at the dentist that it is so bulky. Its also too long. It’s giving me a lisp and my bottom teeth hit it when I chew. My natural and temp tooth did not protrude. I approved it, but it was hard to see while there.

The least risky way to remove a permanently cemented crown would be to cut it off. Using any of the crown removal techniques that don’t involve cutting could cause damage to the abutment or even the implant itself.
I am sorry to hear that you have a sensitive tooth. in my experience, there are several possible reasons for the painless lump on your gums. I think it would be a good idea to call your regular dentist and ask to be seen. I would let the dentist know that it is a painless bump and you don't know...
