Your discoloration may be from prolonged bruising on your skin after the liposuction and fat harvest. If the fat was harvested with laser lipo or VASER, it may also represent a healing burn. You would need to post pictures to get better answers.

Skin discoloration after lipo can result from a number of different things, including burns from the technique of lipo, dermal injury from the technique, over resection of fat, seroma, excessive bruising, and prolonged swelling.  Discuss with your surgeon.
