How can I shorten my front teeth without an expensive or harmful procedure? (Photo)

Question

My two front teeth are a fair amount longer than the rest of my teeth and I would like to make them not so prominently long. If they could be the same length as my canines, that would be really nice. Ideally all of my teeth would be somewhat uniform in length, but I don't know if that is possible. I can't afford braces or Invisalign, but I have heard that teeth filing and shaping and recontouring is a good option that can be fairly inexpensive. What should I do?

Hello there,The cheapest fix for your teeth would be having them filed down by a dentist.  However, your specific case would benefit the most from 6 front porcelain veneers.  You could try the cheaper way first, then move on to veneers, if you are not happy.  Whichever dentist you choose, be sure to review their before and after photos, so that you will have a good idea of what the outcome will be for you.   Good luck and I hope this helps. From Your photo it appears that your lateral incisors (the teeth next to your front teeth) are proportionality too small.  Veneering them to the correct size will make your overall smile better.
