My dermatologist prescribed me 25mg of spiro for 30 days to see if it helps me with my hormonal acne. I'm a 21 year old male, but everything I've read about this drug is regarding acne for women. Is this a normal prescription?

Spironolactone is
useful in many women with acne. Weight gain from this drug is not common.

this is not something that we see with this drug.
