Based on your photo and description it is very difficult to determine exactly what is occurring.An elevated sed rate on its own is rather non specific in meaning.I suggest a thorough evaluation by a Dermatologist or experienced Hair Restoration surgeon to determine the nature of your hair loss and design an appropriate treatment plan.

mentioned that you were stressed over the summer, that may play a role in your
hair loss however, it does not explain a high sed rate.  Sed rates are very non-specific and indicate inflammation
of some type.  If the sed rate is the
only positive lab, have the sed rate repeated as they have a high false positive
rate.  By this I mean, if the tube is not
handled properly by the tech/lab this may give a falsely elevated result.   None-the-less,
see a hair restoration physician for an evaluation. You need a thorough
evaluation to rule out other systemic inflammatory conditions.

It is difficult to say without seeing your scalp up close snd knowing all your story. Please see a dermatologist.

I am assuming that you are female. IF that is the case, then you might have some 'disease' that is causing this and should see a doctor.
