I noticed my hair thining a lot and very fast over 3-4 months. In the begining my hair was sheding in a difuse way in the crown part of my scalp, as soon as I started sheding on my scalp my eyebrows started sheding as well, I believe there is no link between DHT and eyebrow hair loss.Front of my scalp has started sheding as well.my sed rate is 40 and is suposed to be betwen 0-10 which means there is inflamation in my body. Was stressed during summer and shedding started 2 month after stress
Answer: Rapid hair loss Based on your photo and description it is very difficult to determine exactly what is occurring. An elevated sed rate on its own is rather non specific in meaning.I suggest a thorough evaluation by a Dermatologist or experienced Hair Restoration surgeon to determine the nature of your hair loss and design an appropriate treatment plan.

Answer: Understanding Hair loss and hair loss treatment options: hair transplant, prp and progesterone This will require an in-person evaluation. I suggest seeing a hair loss expert now to evaluate and go over your condition and provide you information about your best treatment options. There are great non-invasive options like prp/progesterone and/or hair transplantation. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Eyebrow loss You mentioned that you were stressed over the summer, that may play a role in your hair loss however, it does not explain a high sed rate. Sed rates are very non-specific and indicate inflammation of some type. If the sed rate is the only positive lab, have the sed rate repeated as they have a high false positive rate. By this I mean, if the tube is not handled properly by the tech/lab this may give a falsely elevated result. None-the-less, see a hair restoration physician for an evaluation. You need a thorough evaluation to rule out other systemic inflammatory conditions.

Answer: Loss of eyebrows and thinning hair I am assuming that you are female. IF that is the case, then you might have some 'disease' that is causing this and should see a doctor.
