I have seen many dermatologists about my chronic condition who have diagnosed me with either type2 Rosacea (only affecting perioral area) or PR. The only treatment that works is topical metronidazole with Docycycline antibiotics. However, these do not get rid of the condition long term and I have to repeat the treatment several times a year. any other recommended treatments such as lasers that would resolve my issue long term and would that treatment be different whether I have rosacea or PD?
