2 months ago my orthodontist informed me that I was done with my braces and the next following week I would get them off. They informed me to wear my elastics till then. They gave me an appointment few days later but I was not able to attend because my dad had work and they had to move the date to July 21st to get my braces off since my doctor was going on vacation. I have not worn my elastics since then. Will this delay my braces since I haven’t worn elastics?

Just looking at the pictures, the brackets seem to be placed at the correct position. The tooth you mentioned with the elastic sticking out is due to the tooth being rotated and in time you will see the elastic snug against the bracket..
