I’m on day 3 of my treatment and noticed yesterday that my tongue feels burnt on top and sores on the tip. Is this normal and what can I do to help this pain?

I don't recommend skipping aligners; however there have been times when I've had patients do just that without any negative consequences. You should be fine.
