Will a sunburn a week after ktp laser treatment damage my results? (Photo)

About a week after I had ktp facial treatment I noticed one of my cheeks looked like it had a burn. I’ve been using sun screen and hat protection when I’m outside. I am now almost two weeks post treatment and the area is still red and sensitive. Will this cause lasting damage? What should I do from here?

Good afternoon and thank you for your question! Because TriLuma has hydroquinone in it we do not recommend spot treating with it. We advise using TriLuma over the entire face and then going back over with extra on the hyperpigmented areas to avoid the halo-effect. Be sure to use sunscreen daily...
