Are composite veneers and filling the same when it comes to closing a gap?

Hi there,Composite veneers and fillings are of the same material, but composite veneers typically cover the entire front of the tooth, as opposed to just the gaps beside the tooth.  Both stain very easily, compared to porcelain veneers which are highly stain resistant.   Good luck and I hope this helps. by both the ways u can close the gaps. but better option is bonding . veneers is the option for whole tooth not only for the sides. for sides go for bonding.BUT REMEMBER , closing gap by bonding/veneers will change golden ratio of teeth [u may feel big bulky teeth after restorations]. so braces treatment/aligners is the best option for spacing in front teeth.

Composite fillings properly done can close spaces.  They are layered over tooth structure and are considered filling in the spaces.  They may involve 3-5  surfaces of tooth structure and are billed accordingly.
