My question is, i was prescribed .25mg oral minoxidil for hair loss i was told it is more effective than topical 7% (dermetologist told me this) after 14 weeks i have lost over half my frontal area, my temples which i gained r now gone and there are no signs of things getting better, my concern is i have only seen tests done on women for .25mg, is .25mg really effective for Men, or is it equivelant to 2% topical, i am very concerned, i was better off before, granted its only been bit over 3mnths

There is no guarantee that once your stopped the drug finasteride and lost hair as a result of stopping it, that the benefits you had will return. Most people don't see a full return of the benefits after stopping it even if they go back on it
You need to see a doctor who specializes in hair problems as your problem is unusual and it needs an indepth knowledge of the field of hair loss in women
