Why am I losing my hair at the temples and the nape of my neck? (Photos)

I am a 24 year old girl and I've been excessively losing hair for about 2 years. The top of my head is almost intact, meaning there's no wider part whatsoever. What concerns me is the hair loss around temples and especially nape of neck.Here is the picture I took today of my nape. The hair really thinned out and I have redness which itches very often. My hair gets oily quickly and I've been wondering what could cause all of these symptoms.

If you are experiencing redness and itching I recommend going to see a dermatologist . A skin or scalp condition that may be causing the hair loss needs to be treated if necessary.
