Is it safe to have Botox done days after a Covid diagnosis?

Is it safe to have botox 9-10 days after a Covid diagnosis? The Covid AG test came back negative one day ago. Can Botox affect the immune system and prolong the recovery or trigger the rebound? Thank you!

If you are feeling well, have completed the recommended isolation period, and have tested negative, receiving Botox 9–10 days after a COVID-19 diagnosis is generally considered safe. Botox itself does not impact the immune system or interfere with your body’s recovery from viral infections. The most important factors are that you are symptom-free and your overall health has returned to baseline before proceeding. Always let your injector know about your recent illness so they can evaluate your readiness.

There is no connection between botox and covid. As long as you are tested negative and not considered contagious, you are safe to get Botox treatment

There is no specific guidelines on how long to wait after a COVID diagnosis before having Botox.  If you are feeling healthy and the test was negative it would probably be fine to have treatment.  If you want to err on the side of caution you can postpone for a week or two.

Botox can affect immune system in that some people have antibodies that neutralize the effect of botox. Now in regards to botox affecting patients who had covid make symptoms last longer its hard to say we have not done studies on this. Probably not. I would say any sort of cold, even flu guidelines are to wait 2 weeks after testing negative because it is a very inflammatory virus from overactive immune system can potentially create more inflammatory response to botox or filler.
