Can a recently made black tattoo be fully removed?

I have a tattoo on my entire chest and I really loved the design until I saw the result. The reason why I am planning to remove it is that I am not satisfied with it at all. The artist did not really take her time, did the entire tattoo in 4 hours and the amount of mistakes i found since that day is too high to let it stay on my body. The doctor I talked to is working with Q-switch technology, so the question is, can it be fully removed and in how many treatments?

Unfortunately, it's much easier to get a tattoo than it is to remove one. You need to wait a couple of months before proceeding to removal, because your skin first needs to heal. Luckily, fresh tattoos are often less challenging to remove because the pigment hasn't settled deeply into the skin....

Thank you for question. It is not normal to have itching and swelling from your tattoo removal procedure done 2 weeks ago. It may be possible that you are having an allergic reaction to the dyes in the tattoo. I recommend having this evaluated by your physician. Best of Luck!
