Can Silver Sulfadiazine be used after Fractional C02 Laser resurfacing?

I am wondering if Silver Sulfadiazine cream can be used post C02 laser on the face and neck for healing instead of aquaphor, vaseline or bacitracin ointment? I have heard it works very well.

The biggest thing following a CO2 laser procedure is making sure your face remains moist following the procedure, which allows for re-epithelialization (or skin growing back). Any emollient, such as Aquaphor, Vaseline, or Bacitracin will work. This list includes silver sulfadiazene, which also contains a powerful antibiotic agent. However, this SSD cream is very thick, uncomfortable, and can be expensive. Because of this, it is typically not recommended following CO2 laser procedures.
