Hi, I’ve always had a lot of hair and it’s one of my defining traits. Recently, I noticed thinning at my hairline so I went to my dermatologist who diagnosed me with AGA and prescribed minoxidil. I wanted confirmation and went to another derm who did a scalp biopsy (no Trichoscopy) and it came back as AGA with very large sebaceous glands and sparse inflammation. The treatment plan is spironolactone 25mg and possibly more as time goes on. Do I need a third opinion? I am terrified!
