The cost of braces depends on many factors, including the estimated length of treatment, degree of difficulty, etc. An Orthodontic specialist can do an exam and consultation for you and give you a better idea of your treatment options and cost. Depending on the type of insurance you have, you may be able to get a "discounted rate" and/or a one-time maximum benefit towards treatment. There are a few different kinds of insurance plans and some do have a waiting period before it applies to braces -- make sure to ask alot of questions! Also, most Orthodontists offer in-house financing with 0% interest. Usually you have to make some sort of down-payment and then the remainder can be broken up over the length of your treatment. Some offices also offer care Credit. Hope this helps! Dr. Pam
