Can an orthodontist look at old Hawley retainer and put teeth back into that exact position?

if you have an old orthodontic retainer that doesn’t fit anymore could you take it to the orthodontist and would they be able to give you braces to get your teeth back into the position that old retainer fit? I’m specifically wondering about a Hawley retainer.

Talk to yr orthodontist about your concern.for rough surface - polishing with polishing wheels will improve tooth surface roughness and will give smooth shiny look.for rough surface and cracks - if you want to correct both thn, porcelain veneer is good option.
