1 year ago I had a RCT done on #19/ crown placed. Since then that tooth never felt right. To the touch or anything. I can eat on it but I feel it there. I put it off because I don't want the tooth out. I am now experiencing severe pain and ear pain in my left side of face. I've had a CBT scan-doc said nothing wrong. I went to a TMJ specialist- not my TMJ. Had my bite adjusted- did not help a bit. Could this tooth be fractured?! I've always felt a weird aching feeling in it for a year.

Given 6 years has passed, there will most likely be some gum recession. The gum in this region is very thin and when exposed the underlying non-vital tooth structure can appear prominent in color even if it is only a millimeter. If there is no pathology there may be options...
