I had submental liposuction 4 yrs ago. There remains small humps and bumps due to skin elasticity and I gained 10 lbs more. Can I do another submental lipo or will Botox help?
Answer: Will masseter Botox help with skin elasticity after submental liposuction? Botox will not help with skin elasticity nor will it improve the contour irregularities in the submental area. I encourage you to visit with a board certified plastic surgeon for a consultation. You may be a candidate for FaceTite to improve these concerns.

Answer: Botox does not treat submental fat Thank you for your question. Botox is a neuromodulator that can effectively relax the masseter muscle to minimize a boxy face shape. It will not do anything for skin laxity. Based on your photos, I would guess you might benefit from another liposuction treatment, followed up with a non-surgical skin tightening procedure like Ultherapy or ThermiTight. In my practice, we offer Awake lipo, which can be done using local anesthesia and tends to require less recovery time than other liposuction techniques. Always choose a board-certified dermatologist with extensive experience in facial contouring to ensure your treatment is safe and successful.

Answer: Botox does not remove fat or loose skin Injecting Botox into the masseter muscles could slim the jawline, but will not have any effect on submental fat or loose skin underneath the chin. I would likely recommend another liposculpture treatment to remove the remaining fat and a skin tightening process like Ultherapy or ThermiTight to put the finishing touches on your contour. Choose a board-certified dermatologist with ample experience in facial contouring procedures to ensure an optimal outcome.

Answer: Additional Lipo won't Eliminate Loose Skin I appreciate your question and photo. Based on the image, it appears you might be a good candidate for additional liposuction under the chin to remove residual fat and create a smoother contour. However, this procedure will not do anything to improve your skin elasticity and may even make the loose skin more noticeable. I recommend you schedule an in-person consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon that can give you a thorough evaluation, discuss your needs and goals and devise a treatment plan that will precisely meet your expectations. Good luck to you!

Answer: Re-do the submental lipo and get Accutite done at the same time for amazing results. The micro canula liposuction under local will fix your problems just fine but adding Accutite which is skin tightening at the same time will make the results look amazing.
