Broken nose in a child - corrective surgery?

Hello - my child (now 8) broke her nose very badly two years ago. The surgeon did correct surgery after 10 days but two years later the nose is still not quite right (small lump where bone shattered, bridge of nose quite wide). Will we have to wait until she is 18 for any further intervention?
