Should I be concerned if I accidentally hit nose in my sleep three and a half weeks post septorhinoplasty?

So yesterday morning I woke up on my back and stretched my arms upward, accidentally letting my hand thumb and index finger facing fall on the bottom half of my nose. As soon as my hand made contact I quickly moved. My nose didn't really look swollen or anything and my nose wasn't bleeding so I was wondering if this is something I should be concerned about or was the contact made not enough force to do some serious damage so soon after? Also how would I know for sure if I moved the bones around?

Look in the mirror and see if the nose looks straight. Put some ice on it. Photograph it in all 6 views today and in two days and see if you see any change. More than likely, if the nose hasn't shifted, you will be okay.

From the sounds of it, it does not seem like you hit your nose with excessive force so it unlikely that you caused any damage. Naturally, your nose is still going to be tender so any type of manipulation to the nose will cause some discomfort. If you are concerned that something does not look right, make sure you followup with your plastic surgeon.

It is doubtful that you harmed your nose.  Have your surgeon examine your nose to confirm that all is well.  Best wishes!
