I recently lost 50lbs and am now at my ideal weight and toning my body. The loss of weight took away the fullness of my breast, very depressing. They feel like their "empty". Does not feel like a plump breast any longer and I really didn't want implants. Is there another way of getting that fullness to them that I once had without the implants. I know they droop somewhat but I really don't care about that "fake look" with the implants and I really just want them to have that feel of fullness.
Answer: Making your breasts fuller without breast implants Here are the most important things about your idea to make your breasts fuller:It's true that the best way to make the breasts fuller will be to use implantsHaving breast implants done does not mean the breasts have to look fake or have an "implant" look. That's a discussion you need to have with your plastic surgery, and the surgeon should know how to customize the procedure to fit your needs. If you don't want breast implants, you only have two options to make the breasts fuller:A "weekend" breast augmentation can be done using temporary injections of saline (mixed with a small number of other specialized medications in the solution to avoid pain and reduce bruising). This will only last 2-3 days at most), and slowly, you will go back to your original size.Fat transfer can be done from places where you don't want it (abdomen, love handles, thighs), into your breasts. This technique will not give you the same shape as implants, but maintains your own shape, only a bit fuller and larger.Be sure to consult with an experienced palstic surgeon who can handle your needs.Regrads,Reza Momeni, MD

Answer: Fullness without implants Thanks for your question and photos. From what I can see on your photo, you would do well with a breast lift (mastopexy). If you really desire upper pole fullness, you should consider an implant. However, it is possible to help push some of the breast tissue more superiorly with a breast lift, but it does not give the same effect as an implant. Another option would be a breast lift with autologous (your own) fat grafting. Fat can be harvested from your abdomen, thighs, or flanks and then injected into the upper breast pole fat to help augment the fullness. Best wishes.

Answer: Breast "emptiness" after weight loss Based on your photos alone, you appear to be a reasonable candidate for a breast lift. This will improve the shape of your breasts so they don't look so long and droopy. If you really do not want implants and are looking for a change in shape, see a board certified plastic surgeon about your options. A lift will not necessarily give you upper pole fullness and you may decide to have an augmentation after you see how the lift works for you. Hope this helps!

Answer: Fuller breasts without implants The most common way to increase breast volume is with breast implants. That said, breast volume can also be increased with fat injections. Fat can be taken from one part of the body and then re-injected into the breasts. This method is less exact than with implants and usually requires several sessions. Another temporary solution is using an external vacuum device called the BRAVA. The negative pressure will cause your breasts to swell, but again this is short-lived. Looking at your photos, I think you would benefit from a breast lift and through that does not add any volume to your breast, the improvement in shape may give that illusion.
