I'm a middle aged male, about 6'1" and 190 lbs with olive skin tone. After Varithena, is wearing the 48 hour ACE aka Compression Wrap necessary ? Or do you all just recommend compression stockings right after the procedure ? I've found the wraps to be extremely itchy/uneven. I did contact Boston Scientific and they explain the ACE wrap is necessary to secure the "puffy elements". And the puffy elements are necessary to prevent "pooling and clotting".
