I have a great idea. Have the breast aug first and forget about the BBL. While much hype may have convinced you that it is a good operation, I think it is an incredible waste of time and money.
It doesn't matter which you do first. It's really just a matter of preference on which area you would like treated first.
You can do either operation first - there's no difference in outcomes. It's also possible to do them at the same time. Best of luck!
It really does not matter which procedure you get done first. A breast augmentation does not affect a BBL and vice versa. It is really your choice. Good luck. Dr. ES
These procedures can be performed simultaneously if you are in good health. You would be limited to sleeping on your side however during the recovery. If you choose to have the procedures done separately, the order is up to you and your surgeon. The recovery from a fat transfer to the buttock is more involved and will likely require more time off from work. Please consult with an experienced board certified plastic surgeon for an examination to determine if you are a good candidate for these procedures. Best wishes, Dr.Bruno
It does not matter. Performing them together is both safe and cost efficient. I perform about 500 breast augmentations and 500 Brazilian buttlifts each year. The Brazilian buttlift procedure is the most surgeon dependent plastic surgery procedure. Find a plastic surgeon with ELITE credentials who performs hundreds of Brazilian buttlifts and breast augmentations each year. Then look at the plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can deliver the results. Kenneth Hughes, MD Los Angeles, CA
Having done hundreds of both procedures, I always tell my patients to do the BBL operation first because after doing the BBL you must lay on your stomach and cannot sit for 10 days following the procedure. I have my patients sleep on their stomach for 1 month post-operative. Therefore, when laying on your stomach you can always have the possibility of displacing the implants and disrupting the pocket, especially early in the recovery period. by doing the BBL first and augmentation last, it just makes sense from a recovery standpoint. Also the recovery for a BBL is longer then for the breast augmentation.
There is no advantage to doing either one of those procedures first. In fact, I often perform a Brazilian Butt Lift and a breast augmentation at the same time at my Atlanta area surgery center. There are recovery issues when operating on both sides of the body at once - after a BBL, you should not lie on your butt for the first several weeks, and you of course should not lie on your chest after a breast augmentation. Many of my patients have been successful positioning themselves on their sides with maternity pillows.
You can do either the brazilian butt lift or breast augmetnation or both. Whatever you prefer. Good luck.
The combination of Breast Augmentation and Brazilian Butt Lift can be done at the same time, provided you are in good health and the operative time does not exceed 6 hours in an accredited facility with a Board certified plastic Surgeon and MD. Anesthesiologist. If you have to separate the two procedures then depending how far apart then The Brazilian Butt first then the Breast Augmentation due to the fact that during the Brazilian Butt Lift you need to be positioned face down and will be concerned about pressure on the breast implants in spite of taking every measure to use rolls and pelvic rolls to relief pressure on the breast and abdomen.
It is imperative that you be seen and examined. I don't know if an adhesive or glue was used and there is residual product on the wound. The incision otherwise appears stable.
The technique I prefer is Breast Augmentation with Mini Ultimate Breast Lift. Using only a circumareola incision it is possible to place the implant, reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage...
At size 36 C each 200 cc’s of implant corresponds to 1 cup size change. 800 cc implants would take you up 4 cup sizes to a size G. The best implants are silicone gel placed retro-pectoral since they look and feel natural, are less likely to ripple and are more stable long term.&...
