Cost of Brazilian Butt Lift and Tummy Tuck

Plastic Surgery pricing vary considerably depending on the geographic area and the expertise of the surgeon. Our cost for Brazilian Butt Lift starts at $4500 + MD Anesthesia related costs but will vary depending on the amount of fat to be removed, the quality of fat to be processed, and the amount of fat desired to be injected back into the buttocks. The costs of a tummy tuck at comparable amount. There is some savings if both procedures can be done on the same day. However, this combination must be considered carefully to ensure that they can be performed safely together in your case.

Since we own our AAAASF nationally accredited facility, we can ensure that key staff is maintained (more than 15 years), strong relationships with our MD Anesthesiologist (also more than 15 years), and eliminate wasted costs. This allows the safest and most comfortable environment for our patients, and the best possible value.

Consult with 3- 4 board certified plastic surgeons to explore your options.

TT and BBL

A BBL can be up to 10k and a TT around 8k in this area. Seek a plastic surgeon who performs hundreds of these procedures, has great reviews and photos, and is an expert in this field.

In Toronto, Ontario, a Brazilian Butt Lift ranges from $8000 to $9500. This covers the liposuction as well as transferring the fat to your buttocks. A tummy tuck ranges from $7500 to $9500. You may be able to negotiate a discount with your surgeon if the procedures are performed simultaneously. However, please talk to your surgeon to see if this is safe for you.

Brazilian Butt Lift and Tummy Tuck together is around $10K

A Brazilian Butt Lift with fat transfer can be performed at the same time as a Tummy Tuck. It involves liposuction of the abdomen, hips and flanks with washing and fat transfer to the buttock area. The lax skin of the abdomen can be removed with a full Abdominoplasty at the same setting. The procedure is around 3.5-4 hours in length and done under general anesthesia. The recovery time is a few weeks and is a little more difficult because of positioning (difficult to sit or lay flat). Make sure your Plastic Surgeon is comfortable doing these procedures together.

Good Luck!

Tummy tuck and bbl - best as staged procedures

Thank your for your question. A tummy tuck can address the skin and muscle laxity of the abdominal region as well as reducing the excess fatty tissue. A brazilian butt lift helps to shape the buttock by borrowing fat from one part (or several) and transferring this fat to another. They are both extremely rewarding procedures. The best approach for a patient who wants to have both procedures is to stage them and possibly start with the BBL. Here is why:
1) A brazilian butt lift is transferring fat from one area to the buttock. One common donor area is the tummy. Once the fat is transferred, you need to keep pressure off the buttock as this allows new blood supply to develop to the newly grafted fat cells. Any stress such as pressure can reduce the efficacy of this process and hence you may lose some fat. Hence, no sitting or laying on your bottom for ~2 weeks.
2) A tummy tuck is removing excess skin and tightening the muscle as well as remove extra fat. To make the skin removal efficient and protect the incision, you surgeon will often remove skin while your hips are flexed. You will need to maintain this position after surgery for about a week. This will required you to sleep in a recliner position for a good week. In addition, l often combine liposuction of the abdomen and flanks as part of this procedure and once this fat is removed, it cannot be stored for the brazilian buttock lift in the future.
Since the recovery process for these two popular procedures compete, I would recommend staging them. If you are surgeon is needing as much donor areas to recruit as much fat as possible, then I would start with the brazilian buttock lift so you can use the abdominal and flank regions as donor areas.  The BBL may range around ~8-12 K depending on how many donor areas are required to achieve your desired volume.  The tummy tuck is ~8K.

In the Mid-West, $9,000-$12,000

The cost of Brazilian butt lift performed in combination with abdominoplasty surgery varies from patient to patient and depends on a multitude of variables. No two patients are ever exactly alike, and for this reason pricing is dependent upon several factors. It’s important to understand these variables and how they may contribute to a fee quote.
For instance does the fee quote include the surgeon’s fee, facility fee, anesthesia charges and specialized equipment that’s used for processing fat or just the surgeon’s fee? Does the fee include discounts for combination procedures? The answer to these questions will dramatically impact the cost of the procedure. For this reason patients should understand what’s included before proceeding with surgery.
It’s also important to understand the surgeon’s revision policy. In other words, if additional surgery is necessary, who pays for it?
In the Midwestern United States where I practice, the fees for Brazilian butt lift combined with abdominoplasty range between $9,000 to $12,000 when the surgeon fee, facility fees and anesthesia charges are considered. It’s important that patients have a thorough understanding of these issues prior to surgery. Make sure all your questions are answered before proceeding.

Costs of Surgery

Thank you for your post.
In considering the cost of a Tummy Tuck, you should look at the components of the cost:
1. Surgeons Fee. This is usually the greatest part of the overall cost and can vary immensly from location to location (just like the cost of living varies in each location) as well as in the same location, it can vary from surgeon to surgeon. Usually, a surgeon commanding a higher price is very experienced and has very good results reliably, and is very busy due to the above. This also depends on if a circumferential, tummy tuck, extended tummy tuck, full tummy tuck, mini tummy tuck, and skin only tummy tuck is performed. These are usually less expensive in decreasing order.
2. Anesthesia Fee. This can vary depending on if a board certified MD anesthesiologist is used, vs. a nurse anesthetist, vs. a non-certified nurse, vs. only local anesthesia (an awake procedure). Obviously, the further you go down the line, the cheaper the price. You do get what you pay for.
3. Facility Fee. This can vary if it is a a state/medicare certified facility, vs. the back of a doc's office.
4. Accessories. This includes things like a pain pump, Exparol injections (72 hour long lasting numbing), garments, tissue glues, etc. These are not necessary for a great result, just add to the comfort of a result.
5. Revision. Usually a revision such as dog ears or lowering the scar, or a seroma, is much less that the original surgery, but this depends entirely on what exactly is being done.
6. Add on surgeries are usually discounted, as in a mommy makeover.
7. Insurance. If an insurance based surgery, such as a hernia repair is done at the same time, the tummy tuck may be discounted.
As with anything in life, buyer beware of risks of cutting corners in surgery.
Real Self has average costs of every operations in your location that you can peruse before seeing a surgeon, but keep in mind that the above quality can change from office to office. Choose a surgeon that you are very comfortable with and is board certified.
Best Wishes,

Brazilian Butt Lift and a tummy tuck

Many of our patients ask if they can form a tight talk at the same time as a Brazilian Butt lift. Although this is possible, we usually recommend that the patients performed the surgeries separately. This is because after a tummy tuck the recovery involves the patient remaining in any bent or flexed position at the hips. The recovery of a Brazilian tummy tuck requires that the patient minimize the amount of pressure to the butt region as much as possible. It is very difficult to stay in both of these positions at the same time. Many are patients receive the Brazilian Butt lift first where we very aggressively remove as much fat as possible from the abdomen and waist. In this patient population, this can leave a great deal of loose skin in the abdomen and trunk. We reassure the patient but this will be addressed at the time of the tummy tuck. Once the patient has recovered from the Brazilian Butt lift we then perform the tummy tuck. Patients appreciate their new tight tummy and their beautiful new curves.

In New York City, a tummy tuck with Brasilian butt lift would cost you $18,000, including the cost of the operating room and the anesthesia, but it is less in the rest of the country.
