Should I Get Braces Before or After Dental Implant Surgery?

The correct sequence of treatment is to have  your orthodontic treatment completed prior to placing the dental implant.  This will allow for proper spacing for the implant and a superior aesthetic result.  Good luck.  

Dental implants can not be moved orthodontically, therefore braces should be placed first and once the treatment is over then an implant can be placed.

In most cases we will suggest braces first and then the implants good luck

Since dental implants cant move like natural teeth once they are placed, orthodontics must be performed prior to implant placment. This will allow for ideal spacing for the future tooth 

Done correctly, implants are a great way to deal with a missing tooth and can look and function just like a regular tooth EXCEPT for the fact that you cannot move them orthodontically.  This means that if you do the implant before braces you have to move all the other teeth to match the implant position (even if it is in the wrong place).  So the general rule is: braces (or Invisalign) first then the implant!

Sorry about your accident. If you are planning to straighten your teeth.  Preform orthodontics first.  Once a implant is placed, it does not move like teeth.  It is set into place and could interfere with your orthodontics.  They also could do force eruption of your broken root tip to bring the bone down if you have a defect from your accident.
