Answer: Botox and health concerns
I would suggest discussing this with your physician, and then a well-informed and reputable provider prior to treatment. For a full review of potential side-effects and contraindications visit the website below.

Answer: Botox and fillers safety
Check with your primary physician looking after Hashimoto thyroiditis, but typically there should be no issue with having Botox or filler/Juvederm treatment.

Answer: Hashimoto and filler/botox
I would certainly check with the physician who manages your Hashimoto disease, but there is no contraindication to using botox/hyaluronic acid fillers in patient's with Hashimoto disease. From my own experience, however, I would avoid fillers in the tear troughs and botox for the horizontal crease under the eye (crow's feet are fine). My thyroid patients seem to have a lot more swelling around the eyes, and it lasts for some time.

Answer: Is Botox or Juvaderm safe with Hashimoto?
You should check with your Thyroid doctor but Botox or Juvederm as cosmetic procedures should not be a problem if the Hashimoto's is under control.

Answer: Botox and Hashimoto
Are you looking to treat the Hashimoto with Botox? Like you have muscle pain in the neck and you want to use the Botox in this area? Or are you looking to have a cosmetic procedure in the glabella/forehead area and want to receive injections there? These are different cases and types of injections, so it's important to state the purpose of your treatment. What I would recommend is that you see the physician who treats your Hashimoto and ask him/her if you can receive Botox or fillers. While I am not aware of specific cases where Cosmetic Botox and Hashimoto have been reported, what your doctor prefers you do and don't do for your specific case will be important and any doctor who is willing to treat you with Botox or fillers, should be consulting with this physician anyway.
