Trusculpt iD for chin - is this the right procedure & what are the risks? (Photos)

I have a BMI of 25.9, and am considering Trusculpt iD for double chin. My mother and grandfather had them, which seemed at least partially to be from the structure of their face/necks rather than solely from extra weight (though they were overweight). I’m very healthy and active. Is this the right procedure? If I gained weight after at some point in the future, might there be lumpiness/unevenness? What is the risk of lymphatic drainage issues when Trusculpt iD is done in the chin area?

TruSculpt iD is a unique treatment for fat loss and it also has a skin tightening effect, a quality that is not available in other fat reduction procedures. If used appropriately, there should not be any lumps after the procedure and lymphatic drainage issues are minimal for healthy individuals.

Hello, Trusculpt ID is very effective for treating the double chin without breaking the skin- ie non-invasive treatment. It would usually take about 3-4 sessions of 15 min each session spaced one month apart to get the best results. If you gained weight afterwards, there should not be any lumpiness as the fat cells are destroyed and the skin is tightened as well with this radiofrequency treatment. This treatment only affects fat cells and will not affect the lymphatic drainage system. In my opinion this treatment is better than Kybella or liposuction as it is non invasive and has no down time.

Absolutely nothing is better than an in person consultation with a plastic surgeon. If there is fat in the submental area, nothing is better than liposuction. The other problem that is visible in the photographs is the fact that you have a very small chin and having a chin augmentation will help you a great deal.
